Are doctors and nurses ready for Internet of Things?

The Healthcare industry will be heavily affected by the Internet Of Things revolution that begin to raise. The question is How to Get Ready? The linked article below points out some of the challenges that are ahead for the Healthcare industry. Many of them could be grouped around subjects as Leadership, Change management and Culture for Innovation. We could see the well known resistance for using new technology, finding new ways of working, interact with both patient in an new way as well as interact with technology in a way that has not been possible before. The whole Internet of Things world give us possibilities in a proactive manner to work with healthcare prevention. Doctors and nurses in the future could use data from wearables and me as human being could be monitored and advised automatically when something happens that affect my health.

How should doctors and nurses cope with this in the near future? How should their IT department react regarding Internet of Things?, How should this knowledge influence the development of new treatment and be used as a natural tool for increase the care keeping in the future? As usual, this is not only about technology evolution and innovation, its about also about leadership and boldness to try to challenge old way of doing things. Not invented here or we are not doin like that here is to often heard (http://www.scoop.it/t/enterprise-architecture-and-it-governance/p/4019519260/2014/04/13/culture-eats-strategy-for-breakfast-techcrunch).
